Granderson is creator and host of the first LGBTQ-focused podcast for ABC News and has reported on the topics of sports, culture and politics since joining the network in 2015. Over his career, Granderson has worked at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The South Bend Tribune, and The Grand Rapids Press. While at ESPN, he also worked as a columnist and contributor for CNN, where he was part of that network’s coverage of the 2012 general election, the uprising in Ferguson and the funeral of Michael Brown.
He was a fellow at the Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago and the Hechinger Institute at Columbia University.
